Questions
What is the difference between a stand-up pouch and a Mylar bag?
A stand-up pouch has a bottom gusset so it stands on a shelf. A Mylar bag uses a metallised film layer that blocks light and oxygen, and it can be made as a stand-up or flat bag. Freeze-dried food and supplements often use Mylar.
Do I need my printer’s template first?
It helps. Send the template from your pouch supplier and I design on it directly. If you haven’t chosen a supplier yet, I can start on a standard size and adapt it later.
Can you design a pouch range for several flavours?
Yes. I design one layout and change colours, illustrations and flavour names per SKU, so the range is consistent and quick to extend.
Will the pouch design work on Amazon?
Yes. I check the pouch reads clearly as a small thumbnail and can produce the Amazon listing images from the same files.
